Re: Catholic comics and webcomics?
Can you give an example of serious art and stories? Anything will do. A comparison to a movie or book or even old comic book.

Re: Catholic comics and webcomics?
There is an old Catholic comic magazine series called Timeless Topix; the Peanuts cartoonist Charles Schulz worked for them for about a year:

Re: Catholic comics and webcomics?
There have been several comics that have tried to produce Catholic
comics over the years. A few have had decent art, but generally the
story telling has been lacklustre and too keen to deliver a message
rather than tell a story and thus the narrative tends to suffer.
Superheroes in specifically comic books are another matter, Marvel and DC both have prominent Catholic characters but how well they are handled depends on the writer to be frank. Some writers were and are decent at handling various faiths, some are er, less so. P |

As for anime...I can't think of any except those kinds of anime that mix Catholic stuff with fantasy like Ao No Exorcist, and D.Grey Man.
