somehow I missed this police shooting.
the first trial ended in a mistrial. it is sad that the officer became a father while in jail. from the video, the subject is running away and doesn't seem to pose a threat. I am not sure why he had to fire his weapon so many times. an interesting short documentary. the officer faces another trial and other charges I believe. this video seems to prove that officers need better training. both the victim and the officer used poor judgment I think.
