This governor has done some really messed up things, but I commend him for signing this bill.

The Republican party has become very creative in finding ways of keeping the abortion issue alive in the Age of Obama.

Indeed, and in doing so helping to save the lives of the unborn.

And with this particular law, helping preserve and defend the dignity and integrity of women in the face of an abortion culture that would exploit them.

It reveals the other side of abortion, and how pro-abortion is the war on women.

Michigan Governor Rick Snyder (R) has a mixed record on Pro-Life issues.

Snyder states that he is "firmly Pro-Life" but he vetoed a bill banning abortion coverage in standard health care insurance plans, which didn't include exceptions for rape, incest or the mother's life.

Snyder also supports human embryonic stem cell research based on Benthamite Utilitarian principles of normative ethics.

Quote:
Snyder: I also believe that the sanctity of life should be upheld. As I struggled with my personal choice on this issue, I ultimately decided that stem cell research and its possible life-giving potential would be a better alternative than discarding unused embryos.
