Snyder states that he is "firmly Pro-Life" but he vetoed a bill banning abortion coverage in standard health care insurance plans, which didn't include exceptions for rape, incest or the mother's life. Snyder also supports human embryonic stem cell research based on Benthamite Utilitarian principles of normative ethics. Quote: Snyder: I also believe that the sanctity of life should be upheld.
