Joseph Rosendo's Travelscope
Following the Reformation Trail in Switzerland and Germany - Part 1
Quote:
The 500th Anniversary of this event is coming up next year. I saw Part 2 of this series earlier this year. It's the American public school version of the Protestant Revolt and the TV host doesn't at all attempt to accurately explain the Catholic view on this matter. But the host mentions some people and places I hadn't heard of before; still worth watching although get ready to be offended.

I've seen his show before and he mentioned he was Catholic while he was
in Bhutan, and he wept at a Holy Week precession in Guatemala.

Publicizing the reformation actually is a good thing. Then we have a
chance to point out that Christianity started around 33 A.D. and until
Martin Luther (Catholic) had a meltdown in 1517 ALL Christians were
Catholic, the Bible which was canonized around 400, is a catholic Book,
etc. At least, if people watch this stuff, they will have their eyes
opened in the sense of history. To study history is to cease to be
protestant.
