Oh sure jump on the atheists! LOL How is it so easy for theist to forget the inquisition, the crusades, genocide, and the invasion of the new world. Or how even a passing glimpse at the history of warfare And how it corresponds with religion. By the way Stalin was raised in the Orthidox church by pious abusive parents. Pol pot was abused in a Catholic school, Mao who the heck knows?
Any ways I am sure this will be locked because people are so touchy about religion and some one already hit the abuse button. Some people are so sensitive when it comes to these topics sheesh!

Have to agree with those who say religion has caused a lot of grief in the world. Look at all the wars and hatred cause by those who would say my religion is better than yours. People killed and wars fought in gods name. Surely he will smile at me if I kill someone in his name (sic). Think of the poor people burned alive (what a terrible way to go) he being heretics. This why I am agnostic believe in god but subscribe to no organised religion. I believe god knows if you are good and you are trying to be good and help others. Ok later WWNO

Your not familiar with Pope Pius XII? Our do you think Catholics are not Christians?

As for other Christians:

American Christians seem to be completely unaware of the degree to which Christians in Germany threw their support behind Adolf Hitler and the Nazi Party. If they did, they might be less likely to pretend that the crimes of Hitler and the Nazis can be traced to atheism or secularism. They might also be less likely to do so much to transform their own Christianity into an American echo of Germany's extreme nationalistic Christianity.

How much would you like to bet, and how are you going to pay me? That is not even close, and you know it. Why would you even say that? Lets start with Armenia, and do not tell me the Christian church approved of Hitler.

I suggest all atheists become Muslems and have the best of both worlds. All the sex and wifes in this world and seventy two virgins in the next.
Of course one must pray several times a day.....and that may be difficult for an atheist.

PS - What are Muslems? Are they like Muslims?

In eternity, seventy two virgins will get old very quickly. Sorry, I need more inspiration then that.
