"In this epic documentary series, Father Robert Barron gives viewers an expansive look at Catholicism. The 4-part series premieres on Tuesday, November 22 at 7 p.m. on KTWU-HD, Digital Channel 11.1.
Father Barron, the Francis Cardinal George Professor of Faith and Culture at Mundelein Seminary and ordained priest of the Archdiocese of Chicago, travels to some of the most magnificent and sacred sites in Jerusalem, Rome, Krakow, Warsaw, Sinai, Nazareth, Ephesus, Lourdes, Guadalupe, Athens, Corinth, Mexico City, Uganda, China, San Paolo, Auschwitz, Sydney, and America to tell the story of Catholicism around the world – using art, architecture, literature, and music of the Catholic tradition.
Fr. Barron also examines how Christianity has helped shape the nature of this faith. The series was filmed and edited over 3 years with trips to 16 different countries."

The first four episodes of Catholicism, a ten part documentary series, has been and is being shown on numerous PBS stations throughout the country.
The last six episodes will be broadcast on the EWTN cable channel during the rest of this week.
Included in the series is a brief look (c. 3-4 minutes) at Saint Louis IX's magnificent La Sainte-Chapelle (The Holy Chapel) in Paris, France.
