Sandusky Faces Charges in Texas
San Antonio police confirmed they are investigating the "possibility that an offense may have happened" while the Penn State team was in Texas for the Alamo Bowl in 1999.
A spokesperson for the district attorney's office told a San Antonio news station that there is no statue of limitations for a case of this nature and said the distinct attorney's office would pursue the investigation.
In the grand jury testament in Pennsylvania, victim number 4 testified that Sandusky took him to the bowl game in San Antonio, Texas and when he he rejected Sandusky's sexual advances, Sandusky threatened to send him home.
The victim further testified, that, the then, Assistant Coach Sandusky told him that following the 1999 San Antonio game "head coach Joe Patterno, had informed him, he would not become the next head coach of Penn State football."
Sandusky retired shortly after that, but retained many school privileges as part of his severance package.

by the time this thing gets over it's going to be REALLY big, and a lot messier than it is right now.
they effectively canned him in 1998, and the never got another job in football, not ever.
he was, at the time, considered one of the best defensive coaches in the country.
there is NO WAY that is coincidence.
then, FIVE YEARS LATER, he gets caught raping a little boy.
then, NINE YEARS AFTER THAT, he gets arrested?
that's 13 years that we know about, and Penn State knew it the whole time.
when the dominos start falling things will be very ugly for a LOT of people, and I hope they ALL get what's coming to them.

A. Probable ... very very probable.
You do not go to institutions like Penn State, or any college, seeking an infusion of morality, you either already have it implanted prior to setting foot on campus or you don't.
The institution may help enhance and polish that inner essence or it may not, however, it cannot take it away if it's inculcated in you.

Have the authorities investigated if something worse than pedophilia has happened to the Sandusky victims?
Sandusky sodomized a 10yo in the shower but that boy supposedly hasn't come forward.
Many of the victims of Pedophiles are murdered to keep the evil perversions secret.
Secret perversions of a famous person associated with a powerful football brand worth millions of dollars could drive a person or persons to extremes.

Paterno has a degree from an Ivy League university and should have done something.

The judge who ordered Sandusky be freed on $100,000 unsecured bail, worked as a volunteer for his charity, the Second Mile, and Sandusky is continuing to receive his hefty pension payouts from the university.

I'm not surprised that a person in this position or any other position might commit this kind of offensive atrocity. Knowing the way bureaucracies protect themselves and defend their moneymakers... I'm not surprised with the way this appears to have been covered up by Penn State. We're an immature society that seems to live for sports, money, and success while ignoring the concomitant abuses that sometimes hide behind them.
Will this get more ugly? Probably. Will other folks from the staff be implicated in the cover-up? Probably. Are there laws on the books requiring that we report abuses to the local authorities? Yeppers. Did they break the law to protect this guy and/or the university? So it would seem.
So what am I looking for? What I want is a real fantasy. I'd like this to be tried in the courts instead of the media.

There is no mystery about why men do this sort of thing to little boys and little girls. Men with small members look for satisfaction in small orifices. There. I said what no one else will acknowledge. Doctors and Psychiatrists know what makes men go after little boy's butts and little girls private areas. It's teeny weeny! Not all men with teeny weeny do this since I heard of a fellow who has a nice family and no problems.

Joe Paterno may face civil lawsuits as a result of the Penn State sexual abuse scandal/cover-up. However, Paterno's legal representatives could try to use a flaw in Pennsylvania state law that limits the rights of victims currently over the age of 20. These Plaintiffs can pursue lawsuits only in cases of "forcible compulsion" That definition includes rape, but not always *lesser forms of physical contact. (*wait..what)
That loophole could present a challenge for some of the potential victims/plaintiffs. Legal teams for Paterno, and any other defendants, could argue that the boys had the choice of being touched inappropriately by former assist Jerry Sandusky.
I expects all of the men cited in the grand jury presentment will face lawsuits for any role they played in not reporting the alleged crimes to authorities.
.
In addition to charges against Sandusky, attorney general Linda Kelly is pursuing criminal charges against former athletic director Tim Curley and university administrator Gary Schultz for their roles in the alleged cover-up.
I have no doubt all of them will be sued and it will be left up to the discovery process to determine his liability. There are a lot of victims who suffered damages, and I expect that a number of defendants will be obligated to pay a lot of money.

Sandusky's son's ex-wife, has gotten a restraining order so her children, (2 daughter's aged 9 &7, and 1 son age 5) will be forbidden to spend the night at their grandparents home and also Sandusky will not be allowed visitation without it being supervised.
Good for the daughter in law. I read that the youngest of his victim's was 7 years old. Sandusky's wife tried to talk the ex-wife out of the restraining order and said the kids would be safe, but the ex-wife did not change her mind.

What the hell kind of man is McQueary? A real man would have knocked the living hell out of that pig, taken the child and called the cops. Not call his daddy because he didn't know what else to do. I wouldn't let that freak anywhere near my kid. Paterno's career ended the day he did nothing about Sandusky. Penn State does not have men leading their institution, but cowards and greediness beyond the scope of a child's life. What the hell kind of institution has everyone from a janitor to the president of the school know what this animal is doing and no one, yes, no one does anything about it for years. I keep reading it was a well known secret and have been investigating for years. I personally do not want to hear that there is a chain of command. McQueary was the first hard link and he could have broken it at the time he witnessed it. He needs to go. The students protesting about Paterno being fired was sickening. Must be a liberal college.
Sandusky's organization for boys who are poor and troubled. Wow, must have been heaven to him. The powers that be in that college knew he was a pedophile and still they said nothing. Let his organization go on and on. He still had the keys to the locker room. The school should be quarantined and every professor, assoc. professor, janitor, cafeteria worker all given lie detector tests and those who knew should be prosecuted and spend some time in prison. Not the one they send these sicko's to, but where they can get a dose of what it is like for a little boy to be raped.

just read this quote from sandusky ,where is this guys head? he insists he did nothing wrong! and i think he believes it
I am innocent of those charges,'' the 67-year-old Sandusky said. ``... I could say that I have done some of those things. I have horsed around with kids I have showered after workouts. I have hugged them and I have touched their legs without intent of sexual contact.''
