Mr Mason said Buddy and Pedro's relationship had been social, not sexual, and that both would probably end up settling with females.
Buddy, 21, had a female partner for a decade and produced chicks.
But Pedro, 10, has yet to produce any offspring.

And another truth.....since gays cannot naturally reproduce, they must RECRUIT to maintain their numbers. Hence the assault of "alternate lifestyle" characters in the media and "alternate lifestyle " instruction in our public school systems. We can have "Gay / Straight Alliance" Clubs in our schools but Boy Scouts, Girls Scouts, and Junior ROTC are kept out!

Maybe it will be said that with too much reproduction a species is also doomed to extinction.

When we attribute human motivations and behavior to animals it is called anthropomorphism. When we extrapolate hypothesis from observable* empirical animal behavior to project it on how we view ourselves... We call it research.
I've read through the thread and dubbed this "Blue Sky Research."
It doesn't really amount to a hill of beans what these little guys did, are doing, or will do. In the end, each of us will have to sort out our own selves.
